Cookie Policy

What this website stores on your device, why, and how you control it. Today the answer is nothing.

Version 1.0Effective 10 July 2026

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store and to send back on your next request. It is how a site remembers that you are signed in. The same mechanism, and related mechanisms such as local storage and tracking pixels, can be used to build a record of your behaviour across many sites. This policy covers all of them, whatever their technical form.

What this website stores today

At present this website sets no cookies. It stores nothing on your device, it runs no analytics, it embeds no third-party content, and it creates no identifier by which you could be recognised across visits or across sites.

Because nothing is stored, there is presently nothing for you to consent to, and we do not show you a consent banner asking permission we do not need. A banner that asks consent for cookies that do not exist teaches people to dismiss banners without reading them.

When this will change

The customer portal will require a cookie to keep you signed in. That cookie is strictly necessary: without it, the portal cannot tell one request from another, and you would be signed out on every page. When it is introduced it will be listed here, with its purpose, its lifetime, and whether it is set by us or by a third party.

Where we later introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we shall ask for your consent before it is set, we shall record the version of this policy you consented to, and you shall be able to withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. We shall not read consent from your continued use of the site.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you view the cookies a site has set, delete them, and refuse them in future. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the customer portal. Instructions differ by browser, and are published by each browser's maker.

Contact

Questions about this policy should be sent to privacy@secureedgeadvisory.com. Where a cookie is introduced we shall publish a new version of this policy with a new effective date, and the version you are reading appears at the top of this page.
